Hee, thanks! Yeah, the con thing, once it emerged as words, kind of made a whole scenario spin off in my head. I had joked with countrypixie1 about Arthur being uncut (her research uncovered that 30% of men in the 1930s were circumsized). I suggested a future docking fic, maybe a post-fleecing-a-rich-banker celebration or something, and she misunderstood me to mean that they would dock in front of the banker. That would work too, I suppose.
Anyway, all that aside, yeah. I can totally see them being a great partnership for conning their way across America. NGL, I had considered doing a Bonnie and Clyde AU set in the depression era, but that has since morphed into the serial killers thing.
