Okay, I've been thinking about how to respond to this comment all morning.

I love that you've pulled out the individual characters and extrapolated based on both what's there, and what you (and presumably other readers) expected of them.

I'm extremely flattered that you like how I depicted the fairy tale. I'm a huge fan of them as archetypes and compact manifestations of societal beliefs and fears. (NGL, it felt awesome to insert knotting porn into a story that traditionally told little girls to be wary of sexual predators, and to turn the fable into a story about the awakening of a gay male character). In any case, I did try to keep the world-building ingrained, so to speak, into the story so that it wouldn't be blatant and distracting.

The porn, as always, was one of the first things conceived in my head, and as such was the easiest to write.

I do hope the rest of my stuff doesn't disappoint. This was my first (completed) attempt at something of this scope, story-wise. The rest is a whole lot more porn-heavy.

Lastly, thank you so much for all of this. I'm blown away.
